In addition to WEEKLY curbside recycling and kitchen compost collection, WEEKLY trash collection, and a Transfer Station, the Town of Manchester-by-the-Sea offers the following disposal options to residents:

New Regulations for Trash & Recycling
Effective July 1, 2017, following new regulations from MassDEP, the Town of Manchester by the Sea, will separate out and process trash and recyclables in new ways. Thanks to a grant from MassDEP, there is a new container at the Transfer Station designated to RECYCLE just rigid plastics such as; children's plastic toys, lawn chairs, 5 gallon buckets etc. Please open the link below for more information. Please see the Transfer Station attendant prior to deposit.
