BOS WEEKLY UPDATE – June 7, 2018
Selectmen Organization and Meeting Schedule: The newly constituted Board continued the tradition of rotating leadership. Susan Beckmann is now the chairperson and Arthur Steinert the vice chairperson. Much appreciation is extended to Eli Boling and Muffin Driscoll for serving in these positions the last two years. Due to vacation schedules, meetings over the summer months may deviate from the usual first and third Monday’s. Our next meeting will be Monday, June 25.
Round-about Trial: The test of the round-about ends Friday June 8. Thanks to all who have submitted comments. There is still plenty of time to do so. A preliminary discussion about the trial will take place at the Selectmen’s Meeting on June 25. A final decision by the Board will take place at a future meeting still to be announced. As always, public comments at Selectmen meetings are welcome.
Happy June! With summer weather comes more strict enforcement of parking. Our Parking Enforcement Officers are walking the streets monitoring the 2 hour parking limits as well as resident only parking areas. Please be mindful of where and when you park.
