Intersection Design Workshop: A special workshop to explore options for the improvements to the intersections at School and Central as well as Union and Beach will be held in the evening the week of March 25. Stay tuned for details about the exact date and time.
Annual Town Meeting Materials: The warrant for the Annual Town Meeting is posted on the Town’s web site. The delivery of the Town Annual Report and the Finance Committee Report, which contains the warrant and proposed budget, will be made to all households on Saturday March 23 by the Scouts – plenty of time to read the materials and come prepared to participate in the Annual Town Meeting set for Monday, April 1, 7PM at the Memorial Elementary School! If you don’t receive the reports they will be on-line and also available at Town Hall.
Town Elections: Nomination papers are now available for the Annual Town Elections come May 21 and must be returned to the Town Clerk’s Office by April 2. The following positions will be on the ballot: one Moderator for one year, two Selectmen for three years each, two School Committee members for three years each, one Board of Library Trustee for a three year term, three Planning Board members for three years each, and three constables for three years each.
