The Open Meeting Law (MGL c. 30A, §§18-25) requires that all public meetings are posted no later than 48 business hours before any meeting.
In Manchester-By-The-Sea, the Town Clerk posts all meeting notices on the website and Town Hall bulletin board.
Meeting notices should be on the Town agenda template.
All notices should be sent to the townclerk@manchester.ma.us in a timely fashion to allow for the notice to be posted by the 48 hour deadline. If time is short, please call the Town Clerk's office to check on your posting. (978-526-2040)
Please note that a meeting is not posted until it is on the Town website.
Anyone requesting a meeting will receive an email confirmation that the meeting is indeed posted. The requester is responsible to check the accuracy of the posting at their earliest convenience.
