ALERT: July 28, 2021 Tucks Point Beach and Black Beach Remain Closed to Swimming

July 28, 2021 - The following beaches are temporarily closed to swimming until further notice after failing water testing:

Tucks Point Beach - Single count of 20, where over 104 is a fail
Geomean of 64, where over 35 is a fail

Black Beach - Single count of 52, where over 104 is a fail
Geomean of 49, where over 35 is a fail

The remaining Manchester beaches (Singing, Gray, White and West Manchester) have passed the required testing and are open to swimming.

State bathing beach water quality testing requirements are as follows:
Single Count Bacteria Test – must be under 104
A geomean average (of last 5 tests) – must be under 35
