BOS Updates – October 23, 2020

Last day to register to vote is Saturday, October 24. MBTS Election Information

Drug Take Back Day: The Manchester Police Department is hosting a prescription drug take back day on Saturday, October 24 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Please contact the Manchester Police at 978-526-1212 with questions. MBTS Take Back Day

40B Public Presentation: On October 29 starting at 7 p.m. there will be a virtual public presentation on the proposed 40B project by the developer. Meeting details to be announced soon. 40B Information

Halloween-by-the-Sea: Trick or treating in Manchester will be held on October 31 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Please trick or treat in your own neighborhood to avoid crowding in the Village. Streets will not be blocked off in the Village. Leave candy on a table in front of your house. Do not approach front doors or ring doorbells. Residents who do not wish to participate can turn their front lights off. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing. Other festive events are listed on the Town website. 2020 Halloween

Early Voting: Early voting is underway at Town Hall.  Please see the Town website for complete dates and times. COVID-19 safety protocols are in place.

Voting by Mail: Send in your request to the Town Clerk’s Office if you did not do so prior to the primary election. All applications must be received by October 28.

Ballot Drop Box: Please use the Ballot Drop Box next to the front door of Town Hall to deliver your 2020 Election Ballot.

Election Day: Tuesday, November 3 at the Manchester Essex Regional High School from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.  Proper COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place.

Second Quarter Real Estate and Property Taxes: Payment is due on November 2. Please contact the Tax Office at 978-526-2030 for assistance.  

MBTS Beach Update: Dogs are now allowed on Singing Beach through April 14.  Beach visitors are limited to 2 dogs per person.

Town Hall Payment Drop Box: Installed at the rear of Town Hall by the Police Station Blue Door and monitored by a security camera.  Please use this convenient box to drop payments off for any Town Bills. Please No Cash.
