BOS Weekly Update - April 18, 2017

A reminder that the half of the year were dogs are NOT allowed on the beaches has arrived!

Registration is open for the April 22nd Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day.  Residents may contact the Board of Health Office at 978-526-7385 to schedule an appointment to participate in this program.

Town Elections are May 16, including debt and capital expenditure exclusion votes, at the Memorial School Gymnasium.

Phase II of the Master plan process is underway along with a new Complete Streets study that aims to improve safety, accessibility and convenience for all users of our streets and sidewalks.  Watch for upcoming meeting and forum announcements.  For more information about the Master Planning process consider attending MPC meetings the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month, visit the Master Plan web site or contact Sue Brown, Town Planner at 978-525-6436.

The new Short Term Paying Guest Bylaw is in place.  Property owners renting to guests for less than 6 contiguous days are reminded to apply for a license with the Board of Selectmen. Enforcement steps will begin in April.  Anyone with questions about the new bylaw should contact the Selectmen's Office.
